• Website: Refers to Capital Academy's official website and all its content.
• Course: Refers to any educational program, class, or training provided by Capital Academy.

3. Account Registration & Services

3.1 Registration Process

When registering for our courses or services, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

3.2 Age Restrictions

Users under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian consent to register for our services. Certain courses may have specific age requirements which will be specified in the course description.

3.3 Service Availability

While we strive to maintain consistent service, we do not guarantee that our website or services will be available at all times. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services we provide without prior notice.

3.4 Course Enrollment

Enrollment in courses is subject to availability and meeting any prerequisites specified. We reserve the right to refuse enrollment to any individual at our discretion.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Fees and Charges

All fees are quoted in Omani Rials (OMR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, but changes will not affect courses or services for which you have already paid.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments through our secure payment gateway (Thawani). By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

4.3 Late Payments

For installment plans, late payments may result in suspension or termination of your access to services. Late payment fees may apply as specified in your enrollment agreement.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by Student

Course cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility depends on when cancellation notice is received:

• 14+ days before course start date: Full refund minus administrative fee (10%)
• 7-13 days before course start date: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days before course start date: No refund

5.2 Cancellation by Capital Academy

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses. In such cases, students will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to another course.

5.3 Exam Registration Cancellations

IELTS exam registration cancellations are subject to specific policies as outlined by the official IELTS testing authorities, which may differ from our general cancellation policy.

6. Academy Rules & Code of Conduct

All students must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which includes but is not limited to:

• Respecting other students, instructors, and staff
• Attending classes punctually and regularly
• Completing assigned work to the best of their ability
• Refraining from disruptive behavior during classes
• Not engaging in academic dishonesty, including plagiarism
• Complying with health and safety regulations

Violation of our Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the Academy without refund, at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All content provided by Capital Academy, including but not limited to course materials, presentations, worksheets, and online resources, is the property of Capital Academy and protected by intellectual property laws.

Students may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission. Materials provided are for personal use only in connection with the course you have enrolled in.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Capital Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oman.
